The passing of Senate Bill 806 has brought about significant changes to Missouri’s Guardianship Law. Join our faculty as they discuss these changes and what they mean for practitioners and their clients going forward. Topics will include: 
New "Least Restrictive Alternative" standard

  • Duties of respondent’s attorney - Advocate, not Guardian ad Litem 
  • What must the court consider before making an appointment of a full guardian or conservator 
  • New section on the Rights of the Ward 
  • Changes to the standards and duties of conservators
