Adam Breeze is an associate attorney and has vast experience in consumer bankruptcy and related litigation. He has served as an expert witness on the duties of care required by bankruptcy counsel. He also has experience in all facets of civil litigation. Mr. Breeze received his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2007 and his undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems and Management from Park University in 2002 while on active duty in the United States Air Force. Mr. Breeze is admitted to practice in the state courts of Missouri, Illinois (provisionally), and Arizona (inactive), as well as the Eastern and Western Federal District Courts of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois.
Drey Cooley is a Shareholder and General Counsel at Capes Sokol in St. Louis. He is a trial and appellate attorney, assisting businesses in a wide-variety of litigation, risk management and IP matters. Many of Drey's litigation matters involve business, fiduciary and shareholder disputes in state and federal courts.
Erin received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Philosophy from Missouri State University with honors in 2007. During Erin’s course of studies, she emphasized International Affairs and served as a student ambassador for the University in Dailian and Zhengzhou, China.
Upon graduating from Missouri State, Erin attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2010. While at the UMKC Law School, Erin received the school’s International, Comparative, and Foreign Law Area of Emphasis after successfully completing courses in International and EU Law at the University of Vienna, Austria, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, and Corvinus Egyetem in Budapest, Hungary. While at UMKC, Erin participated in the Law School's Guardian ad Litem clinic, representing children in domestic violence dockets in the 16th Judicial Circuit.
Erin is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association including the KCMBA Domestic Law Committee, the Eastern Jackson County Bar Association, and is a board member on the Juvenile Law Committee. Erin is admitted to practice in the Federal Western District Court of Missouri and also a Guardian ad Litem.
Casey E. Elliott joined Van Matre, Harrison, Hollis, Taylor, Elliott and Hicks, P.C. in 2011 and became a partner in 2015. She received her J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2011.
Casey practices primarily in the areas of corporate and business, estate planning, real estate, and health care law. Casey has significant experience assisting clients in general business matters including entity formation, structuring, and maintenance, shareholder agreements, employment contracts, contract review and negotiation, capital and loan structuring, real estate leases and purchases, physician contracts, employment issues, and health care law issues.
After practicing law in Kansas City for ten years, Heather M. Hall joined Schormann Law Firm, LLC where she focuses her practice on fiduciary litigation, probate and trust administration, and minor and adult guardianships.
Upon graduating from law school, Heather worked as a clerk for the Honorable Kathleen Forsyth in the Probate Division of the Circuit Court of Jackson County. Later, she became an assistant prosecuting attorney with Jackson County, Missouri. While serving as an assistant prosecutor, she gained valuable court room experience and tried multiple jury and bench trials to verdict. After entering private practice, Heather chose to focus exclusively on fiduciary litigation and probate related matters.
Brian Hamburg is a partner in the Springfield law firm of Hamburg, Lyons & Clouse, and his practice combines planning, administration and litigation of trust and estate matters. He is a frequent speaker for the SMBA and the Missouri Bar, and has contributed to two chapters of the Missouri Bar CLE Estate Administration Deskbook. He is an active member of the Missouri Bar Probate and Trust Division, and was elected a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
James R. Hobbs is a shareholder at Wyrsch Hobbs & Mirakian, P.C. He has an active practice in the areas of white-collar criminal defense, criminal defense, and commercial litigation. He represents individuals and businesses. Mr. Hobbs is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, Fellow of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers, a Fellow in the International Society of Barristers, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Kevin M. Johnson is a Practicing Partner with the firm, and he has practiced with Wallace Saunders since 2002. He earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude in 1998 from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and his law degree in 2001 from the University of Missouri at Columbia School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois, and his practice focus is on workers’ compensation and employment litigation.

John Kurtz has psychology and law degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He started as a public defender and today is in private practice with the Hubbard and Kurtz law office in Kansas City, doing mostly wrongful death cases.
Marc A. Lapp is a Special Representative with the OCDC and regularly practices before the Disciplinary Hearing Committee and the Supreme Court of Missouri. In addition, Marc is the Director of Quality Assurance, Ethics, and Training for Nationwide Insurance Trial Division.
Anthony Laramore is the founding partner of A.G. Laramore LLC, a St. Louis Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Law Firm. William M. Quitmeier is the President of the Quitmeier Law Firm, P.C. He has degrees of BA in Economics and Juris Doctor (Law) from the University of Kansas. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and Kansas, and is a licensed Missouri Real Esate Broker. He was mayor of the City of Parkville from 1991-2002 and an alderman from 1986-1991. He is a past U.S. District Court Arbiter. He was a founder the Platte Land Trust, dedicated to preserving land for parks.
Andy Scholz is a Springfield, Missouri native. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Drury University in 1994 and attended law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia. During law school, he was honored to be an associate member of the Missouri Environmental Law & Policy Review. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 2001. In 2005, he became an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Boone County, Missouri. While there, he prosecuted sexual crimes and people accused of having perpetrated physical abuse against children. In 2010, Andy and his family chose to move back home to Springfield, where he could work to serve fellow Southwest Missourians by focusing his practice as a family law attorney. Elizabeth Skinner is the managing partner at the Van Camp Law Firm. Elizabeth is a native to the central Missouri area. In 2015, Mr. Stange authored another chapter in a book through Thomson Reuters (Aspatore Published) titled: “Strategies for Illinois Family Law: Leading Lawyers on Leveraging Alternative Dispute Resolution, Negotiating Alimony and Child Support, and Managing Client Expectations (Inside the Minds).” In 2019, Kirk was asked to co-author two chapters in the 2019 Cumulative Supplement to Chapter 13 “Adult Protection Orders and Child Protecting Order” and the 2019 Cumulative Supplement to Chapter 29 “Rights of the Unwed,” in Missouri Law (7th ed.) published by the Missouri Bar. This desk book, which is used by attorneys around the state, gives information to family law attorneys on the latest developments in family law.
Tim Van Ronzelen graduated from the University of Missouri School of law in 1995 and practices in general civil litigation along with complex commercial litigation including class actions. Tim focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death cases with an emphasis in nursing home abuse and neglect cases.
Tamara A. Veit received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2004. She has been with the firm of McElligott Ewan & Hall, PC since 2005. She practices primarily in the area of family law for over 15 years. She frequently serves as Guardian ad Litem. She is a court-approved mediator for Jackson County.
Tamara is involved in numerous legal and community organizations. She is on the Executive Board for the Family Law Section in The Missouri Bar and is on the Family Law Conference Planning Committee. Furthermore, she is on the Board of Directors Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation (KCMBF) and the Board of Directors for the CAPA (Child Abuse Prevention Association). She is also serving on the Board of Directors for the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) and is vice-chair for the CLE Committee for KCMBA. James Wyrsch received his BA in 1963 from University of Notre Dame, JD in 1966 from Georgetown University, and LLM in trial practice in 1972 from UMKC. He is a co-author with Judge Anthony Nugent and Susan Hunt of “Missouri Criminal Trial Practice,” Harrison Law Book Company, 1994.
