In this session we will discuss the most common types of automobile insurance coverages and take an in depth look at the requirements of Missouri law related to those. We will also discuss methods of effectively analyzing the coverage provided by the language of the policy and understanding the interplay of that language with Missouri statutes governing the coverage.

A strategy for handling cases involving accidental injuries
Auto liability insurance policy language and its interplay with RSMo 303.190 - the central law governing that coverage in Missouri (commonly called the “Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law” or “MVFRL”)
Uninsured Motorist (“UM”) policy language and its interplay with RSMo 379.203 – the law governing that coverage in Missouri
Underinsured Motorist (“UIM”) policy language and its interplay with RSMo 379.204 – the law governing that coverage in Missouri
Medical Payments (“Med Pay” or “MPC”) coverage language
Comprehensive coverage for physical damage to an insured auto
Collision coverage for physical damage to an insured auto
