Judge Douglas R. Beach was appointed Associate Circuit Court Judge for St. Louis County Missouri in 2005 and appointed to the Circuit Court by Governor Jay Nixon in 2010. Judge Beach was assigned to the Family Court since he was appointed to the bench in 2005. He was elected Presiding Judge 2017. He was an incorporator of the City of Chesterfield in 1988 and served as the City Attorney for 17½ years before his appointment to the bench. Judge Beach received his law degree from New England School of Law (Cum Laude) in 1973. He retired from the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel where he served as Judge Advocate.

In her over 40 years of practice, Alisse Camazine has become one of the leading family law practitioners in the St. Louis area. 
She has been listed in Best Lawyers in the area of Family Law since 1993. She became a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 1988 and has been certified as an arbitrator by the Academy. She received the Women’s Justice Award for Trial Practice from Lawyers Media in April 2009, recognizing women who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice, and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice and furthering the highest ideals of the legal profession. Super Lawyers has also designated her as one of St. Louis’s “Top Fifty Lawyers” and “Top Fifty Women Lawyers,” and she was voted Missouri’s best divorce attorney in a poll conducted by the legal newspaper Missouri Lawyers’ Weekly, in October, 2007. In 2010, she was selected as “Lawyer of the Year—Family Law” by Best Lawyers. Ms. Camazine, along with her long-time law partner Alan Freed, co-authored the book Divorce in Missouri, which was published in April 2009. She has co-authored many articles for legal journals and continuing legal education programs, including a chapter in the Missouri Bar Family Law desk book titled, “Enforcement of Judgments.” Ms. Camazine has lectured on a wide range of family law topics such as Property Division in Complex Dissolution Cases, Ethical Issues in Family Law, Psychological Testing in Custody Cases, and Ethical Issues for Psychologists in Custody Cases. She has co-authored many articles for legal journals and continuing legal education programs.
Ms. Camazine handles family law cases including division of complex property cases, spousal support, paternity and child support. She is well known for her handling of and complex child custody cases involving mental illness, addiction, sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, orders of protection and adult abuse orders motions to modify. Ms. Camazine is well known for her trial strategies and her expertise in the court room and handles lengthy, complicated custody and divorce matters.

Carla Holste practices primarily in the areas of family law, mediation, and employment law. She served as the chair of the Family Law Section of the Missouri Bar from 2005-2007 and currently serves as the chair of the legislative subcommittee for that section. Ms. Holste has written articles for the Missouri Bar’s Continuing Legal Education series on child support and maintenance and has spoken at various seminars on topics addressing family law. Ms. Holste received the Family Law Practitioner of the Year Award in 2006. Ms. Holste represents both employees and employers in the area of employment discrimination. The case of Kimzey v. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.107 F.3d 568 (8th Cir.1997) was her most notable case as the jury awarded punitive damages to Ms. Holste’s client in the amount of $50 million. Ms. Holste has served on the Federal Practice Committee for the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri.

Ms. Holste is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, has been named to the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 and is listed in Best Lawyers in America.

James T. McLaren maintains a statewide family law practice emphasizing complex marital litigation in Columbia, South Carolina. He is a partner in the law firm of McLaren & Lee. He has served the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in various capacities since becoming a Fellow, including National President in 2015. He received the AAML Fellow of the Year from the Academy in 2007 and the AAML Professionalism Award in 2020. He serves on various Academy Committees. He has served on the Board of the AAML Foundation, where he currently serves on the Advisory Board. For the South Carolina Chapter of the Academy, he has served as President and National Delegate. Hon. Leslie Schneider, Associate Circuit Judge, Division X, was elected to the court in 2006 and re-elected in 2010 and 2014. Division X handles all family law matters including juvenile, dissolution of marriage, adult abuse dockets. Judge Schneider serves as the administrative judge of the Family Court.   Judge Schneider is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law, with an undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia.

Prior to election to the court, Judge Schneider was in private practice in Columbia with the law firm of Harper, Evans, Schneider and Netemeyer. Judge Schneider was previously Municipal Judge for the City of Columbia and an Assistant Attorney General. Judge Schneider is a founding member of the Elwood Thomas Inn of Court. She is a member of the Committee on Access to Family Courts and Family Court Committee.   She has been an adjunct faculty the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law where she teaches family law. Judge Schneider's husband Tom is a practicing attorney in Columbia. They have two children and two grandchildren.

Dick Whiting graduated from Presbyterian College in 1972. Upon his graduation from PC, Dick returned to his hometown of Miami, Florida and entered the international shipping business. He received his Master’s in Business Administration from Florida International University in 1980 and returned to South Carolina that same year. Dick graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in December of 1982. Since his graduation from law school, Dick has practiced primarily in the area of Family Law and Federal and State “Wiretap” Law.  

Dick has held various offices with the Family Law Section Council of the South Carolina Bar (including now being a past president) and currently serves in the House of Delegates. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. 

Dick’s practice continues to emphasize Family Law and Electronic Communication Privacy Law. He has been a speaker on numerous Continuing Legal Education Seminars and other forums including presentations at the newly elected Judges’ orientation school, to private investigators, and to other groups interested with privacy issues.
