Description

You never were very good with maps and now your practice touches upon or concerns the land. If that is the case, then we’ll help you understand Missouri’s boundary history, practices, terminology, and legal principles. Finally, we’ll introduce you to the officials and professionals working in your community who can help you and your clients.

Objectives:
· Discuss boundary terminology
· Analyze why all maps are inherently inaccurate
· Identify the useful limits of the County Assessor’s tax maps
· Recognize where to obtain more boundary records
· Access when to hire a professional surveyor.
