This session will take a close look at hearsay evidence and objections thereto in family law cases. The session will focus on particular applications of the principle of hearsay and exceptions to the general exclusion of hearsay evidence, and practical insights on objections, arguments for and against offered evidence, and preserving a record for appeal.
