This session will help family law professionals gain a deeper understanding of the value of integrating divorce mortgage planning into the overall divorce process. The presenter will also take a look at some of the most common conflicts they see between the MSA and mortgage financing. Divorce mortgage planning is also beneficial for uncoupling and estate/probate cases as the mortgage guidelines offer the same benefits for clients needing to separate property in most instances. The object of this presentation is to provide financing strategies to successfully separate from the mortgage before, during and after divorce.
