Breakout session 1 | Basics track: Initial consultations and managing client expectations (qualifies for 1.0 ethics hour)


The presenters will discuss the ethical requirements for explaining nonadversarial options for resolving case-mediation, collaborative divorce, cooperative process, etc. They will also go over the duty we have to potential clients during consultations and what to do if opposing party contacts your office to schedule consult and whether this is a conflict.
