Breakout session 8 | Preparing for trial as a solo attorney: Elements of proof, message, and organizing your case

This presentation was created at the request of lawyers who don't go to the Courthouse often, and want guidance on how to prepare. We start out with the "business side" of trial, to ensure that lawyer and client are both prepared for the task and potential outcomes, and then delve into trial themes, elements of proof, and pre-drafting your proposed judgment to help organize your thoughts and presentation. We will show you simple evidentiary presentation strategies, and the forms to use during trial to keep track of exhibits, and checklists for proof.
