Breakout session 8 | How to be a Lincoln lawyer in juvenile court: Trial advocacy 101


This program will give attorneys a foundation of how a bench trial in juvenile court operates. Attendees will learn the building blocks of trial advocacy, taking a very basic approach, including a simple approach to evidence and objections. By the conclusion of the presentation, attendees will have an understanding of how to draft direct and cross examination questions, be able to appropriately impeach a witness, and learn persuasive techniques for trial strategy. Attendees will also have access to various statutes and case law pertinent to trial advocacy and juvenile cases
