This program reviews different types of supervised visitation and the reasons to choose between them: therapeutically supervised, supervised, sandwich visits, monitored visits, monitored exchange, etc.

Considerations include:

• What you should expect/not expect from a good supervisor.
• The types of recommendation a supervisor can make.
• The information to be included in the court order.
• Determining when it is safe to increase time.
• Additional case-specific concerns, such as substance abuse, lack of bonding, alienation, resist/refuse, physical abuse, neglect, emotional abuse, domestic violence etc.
