What is self-study credit?

Pursuant to Regulation 15.04.5, a lawyer may receive up to six hours of self-study credits in a reporting year by studying law-related materials "in furtherance of general academic and professional competence."   MoBarCLE offers electronic course materials and video recordings for the majority of MoBarCLE programs, which can be used towards self-study MCLE credit.

Lawyers may not use self-study to satisfy Rule 15.05(e) MCLE requirements (ethics or elimination of bias).
